The coroner’s office has identified the woman who died after falling from the stands at a commencement ceremony Sunday at Ohio State University.University officials said one person fell from the stands near the bell tower during the graduation ceremony.First responders got the initial call around 12:30 p.m. Police and emergency crews rushed to the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead. The Franklin County Coroner’s Office identified the person as 53-year-old Larissa Brady. The coroner’s office said she was pronounced dead at 12:25 p.m. by the Columbus Division of Fire at OSU Football Stadium. According to the Associated Press, Brady was a Georgia resident and according to the commencement program, Brady’s daughter was among those graduating.The commencement ceremonies took place at Ohio Stadium. Parts of the stadium were blocked off by first responders. Police said they do not suspect foul play or an accidental fall.
