Woman stabbed at a Metro elevator in South LA

LOS ANGELES – A woman was stabbed in a Los Angeles Metro elevator in South Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a stabbing near the 110 Freeway and Vermont Avenue late Monday night. The woman has since been taken to the hospital.

Officials have not given a specific description of the suspect who remains on the run.

The woman’s conditions was unknown as of 10 p.m. Monday.
