Woman and child hurt after shooting in Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. — A woman and a 12-year-old child were hurt after a shooting in Stockton Sunday afternoon.

The Stockton Police Department said the shooting was reported along the 1500 block of Eleventh Street just before 4 p.m. 

Police said a 12-year-old boy and a 41-year-old woman were found and taken taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Few details surrounding the shooting have been released, however, police said it appears to be domestic related.

No information on a suspect is available at this time.
