Watch: CHP helicopter captures Sacramento sideshow

Several people are facing tickets after the California Highway Patrol caught drivers participating in sideshows. One of CHP’s helicopters flew over Sacramento Saturday night and early Sunday morning. The footage showed cars doing donuts and other quick turns in the street. Dozens of people were watching. The helicopter was able to guide officers on the ground to the locations. Multiple drivers were cited and four vehicles were impounded. Two vehicles were involved in crashes, CHP said. Officers say spectators can also face penalties. Several people are facing tickets after the California Highway Patrol caught drivers participating in sideshows.

One of CHP’s helicopters flew over Sacramento Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

The footage showed cars doing donuts and other quick turns in the street. Dozens of people were watching.

The helicopter was able to guide officers on the ground to the locations. Multiple drivers were cited and four vehicles were impounded.
