OAKLAND, Calif. – Federal authorities are searching for two suspects in the robbery of a U.S. postal worker in Oakland.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service said on Thursday at around 12:35 p.m., a man robbed a mail carrier who was on her route on Euclid Avenue near Jayne Avenue. He had at least one accomplice.

The carrier’s postal keys were taken.

The holdup happened two months after another postal carrier was robbed of her postal keys on Euclid Avenue near Grand Avenue.

Postal Inspector Matthew Norfleet said while the two men appear to be different, it’s too early to say whether the same crew is responsible.
