Suspicious package under Sacramento County bridge prompts bomb squad response

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
A bomb squad looked into a suspicious package under the Watt Avenue Bridge on Thursday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol were also at the scene south of American River Drive, the sheriff’s office said.
