A suspect was hospitalized after getting shot by police during the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant at a home in Seal Beach Wednesday morning, officials said.

The shooting occurred around 7 a.m. in the 3500 block of Columbine Street in the College Park East neighborhood.

Authorities tell KTLA 5 News the suspect was shot by a La Habra police officer and transported to a local hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.”
