A suspect was hospitalized after getting shot by police during the execution of a narcotics-related search warrant at a home in Seal Beach Wednesday morning, officials said.
The shooting occurred around 7 a.m. in the 3500 block of Columbine Street in the College Park East neighborhood.
Authorities tell KTLA 5 News the suspect was shot by a La Habra police officer and transported to a local hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Sky5 footage showed several law enforcement agencies involved in the investigation, including Seal Beach police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Two women were seen being taken into custody in handcuffs by law enforcement.
A gun was recovered at the scene, authorities said.
Columbine Street was expected to be closed for several hours. Seal Beach police said the incident was “resolved” as of 8:11 a.m.
