Stockton shooting injures teenager, police say

A teenager was taken to the hospital after being shot in Stockton on Thursday, according to police. The Stockton Police Department said the shooting happened near Sutter and Sixth streets in the Seaport District. A 15-year-old male victim was in the area and sustained a gunshot wound. He was then transported to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect is a male between 14-16 years old, according to a Facebook post from police.
