Stockton Police reunite family with stolen dog

STOCKTON, Calif. — A Stockton family has their stolen French Bulldog back after it was found inside a home at the center of a shooting investigation. 

On Friday, police found the dog inside a home in the 2400 block of Seventh Street while serving a search warrant connected to a shooting investigation. Officers said they found two loaded guns inside the home with the dog.

Officials reunited the dog with its owner. They say the investigation into the dognapping and shooting are ongoing.

Officers arrested 34-year-old Julie Gonzales on suspicion of possessing stolen property. They also arrested 18-year-old Elijah Maeris and a 14-year-old on weapons and gang charges.
