Stabbing investigation underway in Manteca

MANTECA, Calif — A person was taken to the hospital in Manteca after a stabbing Wednesday.

The Manteca Police Department is calling on people to avoid the area of 200 North Union Road as the investigation continues. A police spokesperson said the suspect in the stabbing is still outstanding.

No additional information, including the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and what led up to it, have been released. However, police said it appears to be an isolated incident.
