Sacramento State police: Student attacked, robbed on campus

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento State police are searching for six people accused of assaulting a man and taking his phone, according to officials. 

The man, a student at the university, was assaulted by six people around 5:50 p.m. Monday just outside of Klamath Hall on campus, police say. 

The next day, police say they learned a suspect took the victim’s phone during the attack. 

Sacramento State Police Department officers are investigating and are asking anyone with information about this case to call them at 916-278-6000. Police say people can reduce personal risk of crimes by:
