Modesto Jack in the Box employee stabbed, suspect in custody

Police say they were called around 11 a.m. for an assault at the location at 1800 McHenry Avenue.

An employee was stabbed with a knife and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say officers cleared the building and found a suspect who was detained.

The motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time. Anyone with information can call the Modesto Police Department.
