Meals available at various locations

The Humboldt Senior Resource Center is accepting referrals for new enrollments in Adult Day Health, Behavioral Health Services, Meals on Wheels Redwood Coast, MSSP (Multipurpose Senior Services Program) and Redwood Coast PACE. Redwood Coast Village, the newest HSRC program, welcomes new members as well as volunteers.

The Senior Nutrition schedule for this week is as follows. Note that the Eureka Heritage Café, as well as all other HSRC programs and locations, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, for the Presidents Day holiday.

• Arcata (707-825-2027): Heritage Café open Tuesday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Eureka (707-443-9747): Heritage Café open Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.; weekly meal pick-up on Friday, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. inside Heritage Café.

• Fortuna (707-725-6245): Heritage Café open Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 12:30 p.m.; weekly meal pick-up on Friday from noon to 12:30 p.m. inside Heritage Café.

• McKinleyville (707-496-7036): Weekly drive-through meal pickup at the McKinleyville Senior Center on Tuesday, 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

• Rio Dell (707-496-7036): Weekly drive-through meal pickup at the Volunteer Fire Hall on Fridays, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

• Trinidad (707-496-7036): Weekly drive-through meal pickup at the Cher-Ae Heights parking lot on Thursday, 11:30 a.m.- noon.

Reservations are required, preferably at least seven days in advance, for both in-person dining and pick-up meals. Menus – as well as Activities schedules – can be found at www.humsenior.org or onsite at each Heritage Café.
