Fire destroys El Segundo building A massive fire destroys an industrial building in El Segundo.EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – A massive fire broke out in El Segundo Friday night. Emergency responders in El Segundo responded to a call of an industrial building in the 100 block of Lomita Street Friday evening. SkyFOX was over the scene from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. PT with the fire continuing the burn the buildings in the area. Officials did not say if people were hurt in the fire. It is also unknown what the estimated damage is. Lomita Street will be shut down for the rest of the night and is expected to reopen Saturday. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
