Man shot to death in Colton

A Colton man was shot to death Monday night.

The man, who is 32 but whose identity was not released, was shot multiple times in the chest, according to the Colton Police Department.

Officers found him in the 1000 block of North Mt. Vernon Avenue just after 9:30 p.m., and he was declared dead at the scene.

Police are continuing to investigate, and anyone with information is asked to call Detective Rico Carrillo or Sgt. Shawn McFarland at 909-370-5000.
