Man killed by falling vehicle in Sacramento parking lot

SACRAMENTO, Calif — A man died Thursday after a vehicle fell on him in a parking lot in Sacramento.

The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded to the 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Drive for reports a vehicle had fallen on a man around 11 p.m.

The man died at the scene, according to the police department. It’s unclear exactly how the vehicle fell onto the man.

The man’s death is under investigation. His identity hasn’t been released.
