Man injured in Sacramento County shooting, deputies say

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — A man was shot Sunday morning in Sacramento County, authorities said.

Officers responded to a report of the incident just after 10:15 a.m. on the 7400 block of La Mancha Way in south Sacramento County, just west of the Florin neighborhood, according to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Amar Gandhi.

A man with unknown injuries was transported to the hospital, and authorities do not yet have any suspect information, Gandhi said.

Sheriff’s office units were investigating the scene just before 11 a.m. Sunday, according to law enforcement.
