Man found dead in Rocklin near Jessup University | Updates

The Rocklin Police Department said around 6 a.m. it received reports of a man lying near the intersection of University Avenue and Larkspur Drive.

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in Rocklin Thursday.

The Rocklin Police Department said around 6 a.m. it received reports of a man lying near the intersection of University Avenue and Larkspur Drive. It’s near Jessup University. 

First responders arrived and found the man was dead.

University Avenue was closed between Sunset Boulevard and Larkspur Drive as the man’s death was investigated. The road has since reopened. His identity hasn’t been released.

The police department says the man’s death is not suspicious.
