Man accused of killing longtime girlfriend in Anaheim

SANTA ANA — A 67-year-old man was charged Monday with killing his longtime girlfriend in Anaheim.

Raymond Eugene Craft was charged with murder and a felony count of elder and dependent adult abuse by a caretaker with a sentencing enhancement for death to a victim 70 years and older, according to the criminal complaint.

Craft was accused of killing 72-year-old Deborah Brutsche on Feb. 24, according to the complaint.

Craft’s arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana on Monday was rescheduled for March 29 in the North Justice Center in Fullerton.
