Major injury crash in San Jose expected to impact traffic

There was a major injury solo vehicle crash near Monterey Road and Metcalf Road Monday afternoon, according to the San Jose Police Department. The crash severely impacted commuter traffic, police said.

Southbound Monterey Road was blocked off, according to a tweet from SJPD sent at 3:55 p.m. All roads have since reopened.
