Mae Hensley Junior Highway School in Ceres was placed under lockdown in response to shooting threats on Tuesday morning, the Ceres police said.Police have not been able to substantiate the threat.Officials said the Ceres Police Department Communication Center received a call at approximately 11 a.m. from an unknown man who indicated to the police that he was going to shoot students at the school. The man advised the dispatcher that he would be at the school in 10 minutes, police said.Officials said that multiple police units responded to the school along with other schools within the Ceres Unified School District and took precautions, including a lockdown, while officers investigated the threat. Police deemed that students or staff were no longer under threat.
