(FOX40.COM) — A shooting in Sacramento County has hospitalized two people on Saturday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said the incident happened on the 4000 block of Florin Road around 1 p.m.

The sheriff’s office said that a man was sent to the hospital as a result of the shooting. His injuries are non-life-threatening, the agency added.

No identity has been provided for the second victim of this incident.

Sheriff’s officials added that a miscommunication between the hospital and the agency led them to believe that there were three victims in the incident; however, it was later confirmed by a FOX40 News team member that there were only two victims.
