A scary moment involving a Lufthansa Airlines flight was captured on video at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday.

The 747-8i, Boeing’s largest version of the popular “Jumbo Jet,” was attempting to land when it hit the runway hard and bounced, prompting the pilot to abort.

The incident, known as a Baulked Landing, was streamed on Airline Videos Live and later posted on YouTube and social media.

“Holy Moly!” exclaimed Kevin Ray, the website’s owner and host, as the jet slammed into the runway and burned rubber. “That is the roughest landing I think we’ve ever caught on our broadcast.”

Lufthansa Flight 456, which originated in Frankfurt, Germany, circled the airport and landed without incident a short time later.

Boeing’s 747-8 series jets can hold over 400 passengers and crew.
