Downtown Stockton crash leaves woman dead

STOCKTON, Calif. — A crash Saturday evening in Downtown Stockton left a woman dead, police said.

The crash was reported around 4:03 p.m. Saturday on the eastbound side of West Fremont Street near Harrison Street. The 44-year-old passenger of the car died after the car crashed into another car. Stockton Police are investigating the deadly crash.
