Deputies searching San Joaquin river for missing woman in Newman area

NEWMAN, Calif. — Deputies are searching the San Joaquin River for a missing woman in the Newman area.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office said they have drones up for the search. It’s taking place near the waterways of the river along the 26800 block of River Road. 

The missing woman was described as a Hispanic and in her 30s.
