CHP seeks information after pedestrian dies in Sacramento crash on Highway 99

The California Highway Patrol is asking for anyone with information to come forward after a pedestrian was killed in a crash on Highway 99 in Sacramento over the weekend.CHP said Tuesday that it received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian north of Fruitridge Road on Saturday at 4:16 a.m.(Earlier coverage in video above.)The pedestrian who was killed in the crash is still unknown, CHP said.A CHP release listed three other vehicles at the scene, but did not specify what role they may have had in the incident.
