UPDATES AS WE GET THEM. A FUN DAY FOR FAMILIES IN ELK GROVE. IT WAS BIG TRUCK DAY. THE PARKING LOT AT DISTRICT 56 AND THE AQUATIC CENTER HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED BY BIG TRUCKS OF ALL KINDS. LIVECOPTER3 FLYING OVER IT THIS AFTERNOON, AND KIDS CAN GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CITY BUS. OR THEY CAN CHECK OUT THE STREET SWEEPERS AND LEARN ALL ABOUT HOW THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OPERATES. HIGHLIGHT THE WORK, THE CRITICAL WORK THAT THESE PEOPLE DO OUT HERE ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS. A LOT OF THEM WORK 24 OVER SEVEN, YOU KNOW, MAKING SURE THE INFRASTRUCTURE IS WORKING WELL FOR ALL THE CITY AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY. KIDS LOVE THE BIG
