WE BEGIN WITH BREAKING NEWS. THE BREAKING NEWS IS ON I-5 IN STOCKTON. TRAFFIC BEING IMPACTED THIS MORNING AFTER A CYCLIST WAS HIT AND KILLED. IT HAPPENED ON HAMMER LANE AROUND 3:00 THIS MORNING. OUR CREW ABLE TO SHOOT VIDEO HERE FROM THE SCENE YOU CAN SEE TRAFFIC BEING SLOWED AS FIRST RESPONDERS WORK TO CLEAR IT. FOR MORE ON THE IMPACT FOR COMMUTERS THIS MORNING, LET’S GO TO TRAFFIC EXPERT BRIAN HICKEY. BRIAN. YEAH, UNFORTUNATELY, THE TRAFFIC REALLY HASN’T BEEN AN ISSUE IN THAT AREA. AS YOU CAN SEE, EVEN IN THAT VIDEO TRAFFIC GETTING BY, THEY DID HAVE THE FAST LANE SHUT DOWN IN THAT AREA, BUT WITH WITH THAT LANE CLOSURE, TRAFFIC WAS STILL GETTING BY AND THINGS ARE STARTING TO CLEAR UP THERE. AND AS YOU CAN SEE AGAIN, NO DELAYS THERE. BUT AN UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT THAT REMAINED UNDER INVESTIGATION HERE IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA. WE’RE LOOKING GOOD ON HIGHWAY 50 THROUGH WATT AVENUE. NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT ALONG THIS STRETCH OTHER THAN WE’VE GOT MORE CONES OUT THERE. BUT YOU CAN STILL SEE THAT’S NOT CAUSING ANY MAJOR DELAYS THERE. WESTBOUND 80 COMING IN FROM ROSEVILLE. NO PROBLEM THERE MAKING YOUR WAY DOWN INTO THE SPLIT FIVE AND 99. ALSO LOOKING GOOD. AND THE CAUSEWAY CLEAR OF ANY INCIDENTS BETWEEN HERE AND DAVIS. AND THEN JUST SOUTH OF STOCKTON HIGHWAY 120 WE HAD AN INCIDENT INITIALLY CAME IN AS A VEHICLE VERSUS PEDESTRIAN THERE NO LONGER REPORTING THAT, BUT THEY ARE REPORTING SEVERAL VEHICLES INVOLVED WITH AT LEAST ONE OF THEM IN THE CENTER DIVIDE. THIS IS GOING TO BE RIGHT NEAR SOUTH MAIN STREET ON HIGHWAY 120. SO THAT CONTINUES TO CAUSE DELAYS THERE. HIGHWAY 50 RIGHT NOW, A TEN MINUTE RIDE OUT OF RANCHO CORDOVA, INTERSTATE 80, ROSEVILLE TO THE SPLIT. NINE MINUTES, I-5 AND 99 AND 11 MINUTE RIDE OUT OF ELK GROVE TO HIGHWAY 50, WHICH MEANS WE’RE TRAVELING AT THE SPEED LIMIT. IN THE NEXT TRAFFIC REPORT, WE’
