Baseball bat-wielding L.A. homeowner fights back against car burglars

At least two vehicles were broken into overnight in North Hollywood, and video captured the moment that one man caught the suspects in the act and fought back. Another camera captured a man running out of the home with a baseball bat and going after the thieves. 

One of the break-ins occurred on Beck Avenue near Saticoy Street at 12:30 a.m. Monday morning, according to the timestamp on the home surveillance footage. Inside the van was an assortment of tools, including two ladders.
