A fatal crash has forced a partial closure of Highway 41 just south of Fresno on Thursday night.

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A fatal crash has forced a partial closure of Highway 41 just south of Fresno on Thursday night.

The crash happened on the highway at South Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol says the accident left a vehicle pinned under a semi-truck.

Officials have confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash.

It is currently unclear if anyone else was injured.

Northbound lanes of the 41 have been shut down at South Avenue as officers continue to investigate.

Traffic is being diverted off the highway at Manning Avenue.
