UNION CITY — Three men were arrested Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 38-year-old Union City man last summer, according to authorities.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 30, 2023, at 33550 7th St. in Union City. Officers arrived to find the victim — identified as Michael McNack — suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.

On Thursday, authorities served search and arrest warrants at three locations in Hayward, San Jose and Fairfield, the Union City Police Department said in a news release Friday.
