6 people shot, including four children in Fort Worth, officials say

Officials say multiple people were shot in the 3600 block of Las Vegas Trail Wednesday evening.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Multiple people were shot near an apartment complex on the 3600 block of Las Vegas Trail Wednesday, Fort Worth officials say.

During a press conference, Fort Worth PD said at least 6 people were shot, including four children just after 7 p.m. outside of the Miramar Apartments and Townhomes. 

The victim’s age ranges from 19 to as young as 3 years old.

Police said a vehicle drove up to the complex and started shooting. No arrests have been made and a motive is unclear at this time. Police belive this is an isolated incident and not a threat to the public.

Additional details weren’t immediately available. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
