2 people shot, taken to hospital in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — Two men were shot in East Del Paso Heights and taken to the hospital Friday evening, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

The shooting happened in the 3500 block of Marysville Boulevard. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police say. Four cars were hit by gunfire, but no homes were. police say.

Police are also investigating on Willow Street and Harris Avenue near the Rainbow Market. Traffic is impacted and police encourage drivers to find alternative routes.
