2 dead, 1 injured after suspected DUI crash in Tracy

Police say a Dodge Charger crashed into an unoccupied pickup truck. Two of the driver’s passengers died while a third was seriously injured.

TRACY, Calif. — Two people died and a teen was critically injured in a suspected DUI crash in Tracy early Sunday morning.

According to the Tracy Police Department, it happened around 5:20 a.m. near the intersection of Laguna Drive and Holly Drive.

Upon arrival, officers found a Dodge Charger crashed into a parked and unoccupied Chevy pickup truck.

A 24-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, an 18-year-old male passenger was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, and a 15-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the driver, 24-year-old Iman Gullatt of Tracy, was found to be driving under the influence and was arrested.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can call Officer David Allen at 209-831-6691.
