3 suspects busted in Rocklin retail theft operation

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Three people were arrested after a Rocklin police operation targeting organized retail thieves.

The suspects were arrested and booked on suspicion of multiple charges, including felony conspiracy, shoplifting, drug possession, felon in possession of pepper spray and nine total outstanding warrants.

Sgt. Zack Lewis, spokesperson for Rocklin police, said the department worked with multiple retailers at Rocklin Crossings Shopping Center in connection with the bust.


He said the suspects took less than $950 worth of items and were prepared to take more until they were detained. The operation lasted around five hours in total.
