1 injured in Carmichael house fire

CARMICHAEL, Calif. — One person was injured in a house fire in Carmichael on Wednesday.

When crews arrived, they found a fire in the back of the home that extended into the attic. Inside the home, there was a person with limited mobility. The person was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation. 

The fire was knocked down and the cause is under investigation.
