1 in hospital after car crashes into tree in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif — One person was taken to a hospital after crashing into a tree in Sacramento Monday night.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the collision happened around 9 p.m. along the 3100 block of Merrywood Drive.

Officials said one vehicle crashed into a tree and driver was taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

It’s not clear what led up to the collision at this time.
