One person has died following a house fire in Visalia.

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) — One person has died following a house fire in Visalia.

Fire officials were called to a home on Howard Street just before 5 am Wednesday.

Firefighters were told that one person was still inside when they arrived.

The person was found dead inside the home after firefighters entered.

Crews were able to contain the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
