Three teenagers arrested following Sacramento County pursuit involving stolen vehicle

Three teenagers were taken into custody on Thursday evening after leading Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit.The sheriff’s office said deputies spotted a stolen vehicle around 6 p.m. near Walerga Road and Shandwick Drive in Antelope.When the deputies tried to stop the vehicle, officials said the suspects led them on a pursuit that ended on Grice Court.After the suspects stopped, the three teenagers jumped out of the vehicle and ran, trying to escape, according to the sheriff’s office.Officials said deputies shut down some streets while they looked for the teenagers.All three were taken into police custody.Officials have not said what charges they may face.See more coverage of top California stories here | Download our app.

Three teenagers were taken into custody on Thursday evening after leading Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit.

The sheriff’s office said deputies spotted a stolen vehicle around 6 p.m. near Walerga Road and Shandwick Drive in Antelope.

When the deputies tried to stop the vehicle, officials said the suspects led them on a pursuit that ended on Grice Court.

After the suspects stopped, the three teenagers jumped out of the vehicle and ran, trying to escape, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials said deputies shut down some streets while they looked for the teenagers.

All three were taken into police custody.

Officials have not said what charges they may face.
