One person appears to be in custody, with at least three others still on the loose after a high-speed chase on surface streets through downtown Los Angeles on Monday night.

After racing through downtown, the suspect driver, along with at least three other passengers, got on the 5 Freeway and were briefly able to shake ground units, though authorities were tracking the vehicle from the air.

Sky5 was over the scene when the car pulled over on a transition and there was a driver swap before the pursuit continued.

Later, the second suspect driver exited the freeway at Soto Street and wound up in a cul-de-sac near Dacotah and Fresno streets where three passengers bailed the vehicle and ran into the neighborhood.

Authorities appears to have arrested a female who was driving the vehicle at that time.

By the time Sky5 was forced to leave the area, police were still searching for the outstanding suspects.
