Man shot, killed near Granite Park in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man died after being shot near Granite Park in Sacramento Friday evening, according to the Sacramento Police Department. 

The shooting happened around 5 p.m. in the 8100 block of Cucamonga Avenue, police say. Once officers got to the scene, they found one man with at least one gunshot wound. 

He was taken to the hospital where he later died. No one was arrested and no suspect information is available.
