Man dead after shooting in Old North Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif — One person has died after a shooting in Old North Sacramento Sunday afternoon.

According to Sacramento Police Department, the shooting was reported along the 400 block of Arden Way just after 2 p.m.

Arriving officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was ultimately pronounced dead.

Police don’t have anyone in custody for the shooting.

“We would implore the community, that if you saw something, if you see something, if you hear something after the fact, no matter how small you think it might be, it could be very important for our case and our investigation. So we urge you to contact us,” said Officer Anthony Gamble, spokesperson for the department.
