‘I would kill me for what I did’: Man admits to killing Lousiana mother, child

A man accused of killing a Louisiana woman and her 3-year-old daughter admitted to the crime Friday morning. Daniel Callihan was booked in Jackson, Mississippi, on charges of capital murder and sexual battery.Callihan was escorted to jail, where he spoke to reporters before being loaded into a transport van. Callihan said he was sober except for taking Lexapro when he committed the crimes. “I did it. I have no reason for what I did,” Callihan said. “I am diagnosed multiple personality disorder. I think it was the side effects of the Lexapro.”Callihan said he was cooperating with the investigation and that he was not going to fight the charges. “I would kill me. For what I did? Lethal injection is the easiest thing for me,” Callihan said. “I am not pretending to be crazy. I am certified. A man accused of killing a Louisiana woman and her 3-year-old daughter admitted to the crime Friday morning.
