A driver crashed into several unoccupied and parked vehicles in Ontario early Saturday morning, leaving two people dead, according to authorities.

Officers responded to reports of a crash in the area of 6th Street and Grove Avenue around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, and upon arriving at the scene, they found that a driver crashed their vehicle into several parked cars.

Images at the scene from stringer service Key News Network showed a pileup of several vehicles.

Ontario Police Corporal Eliseo Guerrero confirmed to KTLA that two of the occupants of that vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. No identifying information has been released.

An additional two occupants were transported to a local hospital. As of Saturday afternoon, the status of their conditions were not made available.

All four of the occupants were adults, Guerrero said. He couldn’t confirm whether alcohol or speed were factors in the collision.
