Crash blocks Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights, traffic diverted

The southbound lanes on Sunrise Boulevard have been shut down after a traffic collision in Citrus Heights, police said.Crews responded to reports of the crash on Sunrise Boulevard, north of Twin Oaks Avenue, around 2 p.m.According to the Citrus Heights Police Department, multiple vehicles and a street sign are in the roadway. The southbound traffic is being diverted to one block south of the crash, officials said. Motorists can expect delays on the road.
