SEND THINGS BACK TO YOU. THANK YOU. APPRECIATE THE COVERAGE, MELANIE. WELL, RIGHT NOW, CREWS ARE MOPPING UP A SCENE AFTER AN APARTMENT FIRE IN WOODLAND. KCRA 3’S. MIKE TESELLE IS LIVE ALONG COUNTY ROAD 102 THIS MORNING WITH DETAILS ON THAT STORY. YEAH, AND AN ACTIVE SCENE WHERE WE ARE. I’LL STEP OUT OF THE WAY AS CREWS FROM YOLO AND WOODLAND FIRE BOTH HERE. RIGHT NOW. YOU CAN SEE THE THE STRUCTURE THAT WAS DAMAGED HERE. THE ROOF BURNED THROUGH THIS MORNING. FIREFIGHTERS STILL INSIDE THIS STRUCTURE THIS MORNING JUST GOT DONE TALKING TO A YOLO FIRE CAPTAIN HERE WHO WAS DESCRIBING THIS AS, YOU KNOW, FORTUNATELY CONTAINED TO JUST THIS ONE STRUCTURE HERE. EVERYONE WAS ABLE TO GET OUT, BUT ABOUT TEN PEOPLE DISPLACED RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF THIS FIRE. THE GOOD NEWS HERE, THEY WERE ABLE TO CONTAIN THIS FIRE AND KEEP IT FROM SPREADING FROM THIS STRUCTURE. YOU CAN SEE THIS STRUCTURE SURROUNDED BY SOME TREES. BUT ALSO AS WE ARRIVED HERE IN THIS AREA ALONG 102 BETWEEN WOOD ISLAND AND KNIGHTS LANDING, THERE IS NOTICEABLE BREEZE HERE. THIS MORNING, AND THAT’S SOMETHING THAT EASILY COULD HAVE BEEN PUSHED ALONG IN THE GRASSES AND THE BRUSH LAND AROUND HERE. IF IT HAD BECOME A GRASS FIRE AS WELL. SO THE GOOD NEWS HERE IS THE FIRE IS OUT. THE BAD NEWS TEN PEOPLE DISPLACED ALSO WANT TO POINT OUT GETTING TO THIS SPOT ON COUNTY ROAD 102. EVEN THOUGH IT’S A LARGELY RURAL AREA THAT’S THE MAIN LINK BETWEEN WOODLAND AND KNIGHTS LANDING. AND YOU MIGHT NOT THINK IT, BUT AT 5:00 IN THE MORNING, THERE’S A LOT OF TRAFFIC COMING FROM KNIGHTS LANDING, AND SO YOU WILL NEED TO DETOUR AROUND HERE. IT’S GOING TO ADD A SOLID 15 MINUTES TO YOUR DRIVE. YOU’RE TRYING TO GET FROM KNIGHTS LANDING TO WOODLAND AND I-5 THIS MORNING BECAUSE OF ALL THE FIRE APPARATUS THAT CURRENTLY HAS COUNTY ROAD 102 BLOCKED, RIGHT WHERE WE ARE AS THEY MOP UP THIS SCENE. LIVE IN
