2 shot, 1 fatally, in South Los Angeles

Two men were shot, at least one of them fatally, in South Los Angeles Friday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to the 700 block of 77th Street just before 12:30 p.m. and found two men who had been shot.

One was declared dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

The suspected shooter was last seen wearing a gray shirt and khaki pants, police said.
