2 minors hurt, multiple detained in North Highlands stabbing

NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office officials are investigating after two people were stabbed and multiple people were detained in North Highlands late Friday night. 

The sheriff’s office says it happened in the 3900 block of Madison Avenue and deputies are still investigating. Officials say “multiple” people were detained, but it’s unclear how many were and what their involvement was in connection to the stabbing.

It’s currently unclear what led up to the stabbing, the extent of injuries sustained.
