1 dead, 2 majorly injured after Sacramento crash

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — One person died after a single-vehicle crash along the Capital City Freeway in Sacramento, Tuesday.

California Highway Patrol said the crash happened just north of Fulton Avenue. The driver lost control of the vehicle, it overturned and caught fire. 

Two people were able to get out of the vehicle and were taken to a hospital with major injuries. The driver died at the scene.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
